Advanced Analyst

Summary Objective: To provide support for acquisition assessment, oversight, documentation, and assistance to the Missile Defense Agency with effective Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) development and deployment through all phases of the acquisition cycle. To provide strategies, plans, analysis, assessments, and decision tools supporting Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) baselines, acquisition planning, and program management.

Qualifications

Required:

Education: MA/MS in Related Field

Work Experience: 15 years of relevant experience

Security Clearance: Secret (or higher, based on Task Order)

Other/Special Qualifications: Understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulation and the DOD Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR). Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with senior personnel. Ability to provide clear leadership, technical direction, and guidance to all lower level acquisition personnel. Ability to read and interpret Federal acquisition policy, regulations, and directives and to apply those interpretations fully to all activities required by the contract.

Desired:

Experience with MDA acquisition processes

Experience with MDA and BMDS programs

DAWIA Level II Certification in Contracting or Program Management
